Jersey Churches Together – Day of Prayer: Sunday 29 March (and 6pm Prayer Together)
The Dean of Jersey has called all churches to come together to pray in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic this Sunday
As you will know, Mike Keirle, the Dean of Jersey has called all churches to come together to pray in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic throughout the day this Sunday. The Dean has also asked us to raise our voices in prayer together at 6pm in the following prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, you taught us to love our neighbour,
and to care for those in need as if we were caring for you.
In this time of anxiety, give us strength
to comfort the fearful, to tend the sick,
and to assure the isolated of our love and your love,
for your name’s sake,
Amen

Join our first Zoom prayer meeting this Sunday (29th March) at 6pm!!
If you wish to join Ian (Ian is “host” and setting it up – we hope!) in The Rectory to pray at 6pm on Sunday, in a virtual prayer “meeting” by ‘Zoom’ (if all goes to plan!!) please email Church Office, and you will be sent a link to join us on Zoom in a meeting. You will need to download the Zoom app in advance so that you are ready to click on the Prayer Meeting link we will send you. In this age, we are all (including the Rector 😉 !!) having to overcome our fears and barriers to technology!
Let’s try and do this! We probably might all be a bit new to this so don’t worry if this has some tech issues!!
