Bible Verse For The Day and Song
This week we will continue on the theme of practicing gratitude, with an opportunity each day to give thanks to God in three simple ways. Here is the link to Ian’s video message on Sunday 17th May: You Are Not Alone. There is Another With You and In You.
As we approach Pentecost, our Bible verses this week focus upon promises in the Old Testament prophetic books of the coming of the Holy Spirit. This week, Ian has chosen a selection of hymns as our songs of praise.
The drawing below is from Christian artist, Charlie Mackesy, who wrote the book, ‘The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse.’ This book has become an award winning and international bestseller.

‘What’s the best thing you’ve learned about storms?’ ‘That they end,’ said the horse.

Today, thank God for three parts of God’s wonderful creation. Today’s verse on the theme of ‘You Are Not Alone. There is Another With You and In You’ is: Ezekiel 11 v.19-20
I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them; I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, so that they may follow my statutes and keep my ordinances and obey them. Then they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
Ezekiel 11 v.19-20
