Wednesday 10 June: Bible Verse For The Day and Song

Bible Verse For The Day and Song

This week our Bible verses take key texts about the Early Church in Acts, either in what they said about Jesus or key practices they followed.

We continue on the theme of practicing gratitude, by thanking God each day in three simple ways. Today, thank God for three ways you have seen God’s sovereignty in your life.

Wednesday 10th June 2020

Today’s verses are: Acts 4 v.24, 26-28

When they heard it, they raised their voices together to God and said, ‘Sovereign Lord, who made the heaven and the earth, the sea, and everything in them.

Acts 4 v.24

The kings of the earth took their stand, and the rulers have gathered together against the Lord and against his Messiah. For in this city, in fact, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed, to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place.

Acts 4 v.26-28
