Tuesday 16 June: Bible Verse For The Day and Song

Bible Verse For The Day and Song

This week our Bible verses take key texts about the Early Church in Acts, either in what they said about Jesus or key practices they followed.

We continue on the theme of practicing gratitude, by thanking God each day in three simple ways. Today thank God for three times He has held you during a difficult season.

Tuesday 16th June 2020

Today’s verse is: Acts 5 v.29-32

But Peter and the apostles answered, ‘We must obey God rather than any human authority. The God of our ancestors raised up Jesus, whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Saviour, so that he might give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.’

Acts 5 v.29-32
