Tuesday 23 June: Bible Verse For The Day and Song

Bible Verse For The Day and Song

Ian would like to thank everyone for all the positive and helpful comments he has received over these past three months of running these daily reflections during lockdown. Ian has decided, for now, to press pause. In this final week, our Bible verses will bring us up to the pivotal moment in Acts and the Church, which is the conversion of Saul.

We continue on the theme of practicing gratitude, by taking opportunities to reflect upon our lockdown experiences. Today give thanks to God for three things you’ve gained during lockdown and you are happy to give back at the end of lockdown.

Tuesday 23rd June 2020

Today’s verse is: Acts 8 v.25

Now after Peter and John had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, proclaiming the good news to many villages of the Samaritans.

Acts 8 v.25

“For our songs of praise, I have gone melancholic and chosen the songs which have impacted me most during lockdown, in the order they have. Inevitably there have been different stages to this lockdown spiritually, and I leave them with you to reflect upon.”
