Thursday 4 June: Bible Verse For The Day and Song

Bible Verse For The Day and Song

This week our Bible verses will be taken from some key texts about the Early Church in the opening chapters of Acts, either in terms of what they said about Jesus or key practices they followed.

We will also continue on the theme of practicing gratitude, with an opportunity each day to give thanks to God in three simple ways. Today, thank God for three graces seen in your friends.

Thursday 4th June 2020

Today’s verse is: Acts 2 v.44-47

All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need. Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.

Acts 2 v.44-47
