Tuesday 9 June: Bible Verse For The Day and Song

Bible Verse For The Day and Song

This week our Bible verses take key texts about the Early Church in Acts, either in what they said about Jesus or key practices they followed.

We continue on the theme of practicing gratitude, by thanking God each day in three simple ways. Today, thank God for His goodness to you, His patience with you and His strength (Ps. 27 v.13-14).

Tuesday 9th June 2020

Today’s verse is: Acts 4 v.19-21

But Peter and John answered them, ‘Whether it is right in God’s sight to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge; for we cannot keep from speaking about what we have seen and heard.’ After threatening them again, they let them go, finding no way to punish them because of the people, for all of them praised God for what had happened.

Acts 4 v.19-21
