Sea Sunday and Children’s Activities on the Beach
Blessing of the Boats
On Sunday 18th July, 10:30am at Grève de Lecq we will be having our Sea Sunday Service with the annual blessing of the boats. This is a Joint Service for all our three congregations. We will be joined as usual by our friends from St. Ouen’s Methodist Church and St. Mary’s Church.
There are no other church services or online services this Sunday
There will be refreshments served at Colleen’s Café afterwards.
Mission to Seafarers
We will as usual be collecting for The Mission to Seafarers. Sea Sunday is a special opportunity for us to remember and say prayers for the 1.5 million brave men and women who go to work at Sea to make sure we receive our essential items. These brave men and women are called seafarers and they work in dangerous and lonely conditions, often not seeing their families for months at a time. The Mission to Seafarers is here to support and care for seafarers around the world.
Children’s Activities on the Beach
There will be activities for primary school aged children on the beach. Please register from 10:20am for a 10.30am start. Refreshments at Colleen’s Café afterwards.
Bring your sun cream because the weather looks good!
