Bible Studies: Tuesdays for 6 weeks on Exodus
From Tuesday 3rd May (mornings or evenings) for 6 weeks, Ian is leading two new Bible study groups exploring the book of Exodus.
The book of Exodus covers the call of Moses, the people of God’s freedom from slavery in Egypt, the wanderings in the wilderness and the giving of the Ten Commandments and Law. Themes of freedom in Exodus have added relevance as we mark Liberation Day and celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
So much of Exodus is central to understanding the whole of the Old Testament
The morning and evening session will cover the same content. Please let us know whether you would like to attend the morning study group or evening study group.
Both groups will run at the Rectory, with an option to connect via Zoom for those who would prefer.
We will be using the book by Anthony Billington, “Exodus. Freedom to Serve God.”
If you’d like to take part, please contact the church office to join and order the book above (£4.00).
