Zoom Christingle Service – Sunday 20th December
Dear Friends
This Sunday is a first…we’re having a Zoom Christingle Service at 10am! With Prizes!
In previous years, we always make the Christingles as part of the service, which we’ll do again this year, but on Zoom.
This year, though we also have the opportunity to improvise and be really creative, with prizes available for the best Christingles on show!
What you need to make a traditional Christingle are: an orange, 4 cocktail sticks, a piece of red ribbon and a pin, a small piece of tinfoil, a candle and some sweets like dolly mixtures or sultanas. But if you don’t have these at home, be creative!
To help and if you can access the church this Thursday (only) between 8am-7pm, we will have in the Parish Church some packs, with a few things to help you with, which you can take.
I am aware some of you are isolating at present through either choice, or because you’ve been contacted by Track and Trace, so if you want us to drop them with you, please let us know by Saturday.
See you on Sunday! Never more have we needed to shine light in the darkness.
With every blessing
Ian
PS: If you are not in our church and would like to join you are very welcome – but please email the Church Office before Sunday 9.30am for a Zoom link: office@stouenschurchjersey.org
