Children & Youth: What’s On?
We are a lively church with a lot of families, children and youth. Our children and youth teaching and activity groups meet during the 10am Sunday Service, at St. Ouen’s Parish Church.
We encourage the families, children and young people in our church to live by our collective church statement of:
Transforming Lives by Faith, Fellowship and Following Jesus
We run activities for young people, both on a Sunday and throughout the week. These groups help them to learn in an engaging way, grow in their faith and build up good friendships with those of a similar age.
Our children and youth groups provide the building blocks for them to have a good support network, provide a safe space for them to ask questions and work out what being a Christian means to them.
Kids Church 10am
Activities for children from ages 3-11 are available in the marquee on the church car park (and during winter months in church.)
We begin our services all together in the church building for worship, before walking the children over to the marquee for their activities (during the winter months we move to separate spaces in church.)
We play games, read the Bible, pray together in creative and fun ways and have a great time!
The main service for families and children is at 10am at St Ouen’s Parish Church.
This service in church is also usually live-streamed here on YouTube.
Youth on Sundays & Youth Meet-Ups
Young people ages 12+ have YTH Sunday’s sessions twice a month in the church building with a youth leader. They look at the Bible, play games and eat loads of snacks! The young people are also encouraged to join in with the 10am Sunday morning All Age Services once a month by volunteering with tech, welcoming, tea and coffee, prayer, reading and the musical worship.
Youth Meet-Ups happen every other week on a Monday evening from 6-8pm from socials to Bible study and hanging out with friends. We also like to link up with what other church groups are doing on the island from time to time.

Our Vision for Children and Youth Ministry at St. Ouen’s Church
Following the Bible teachings of Jesus, we learn so much about our purpose in life. We want to help children and young people to see that through the Bible and living faith filled lives, that even in the hard times we are made strong through Christ. That he cares for us all and has arms open wide to the youngest and the oldest of generations.
‘In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.’ Matthew 5:16.
We would love for each child and young person who comes to church, to leave each week knowing how loved they are by God.
Through the time and care from our Kids and Youth Team, and living life together as a church community, we pray that we all know the love of God who created us. And from this, we can share this faith and experience of Christ with others by being a shining light for Jesus, as he lives in us and through us every day.
