Children and Youth: what’s on?
We are a lively church with families, children and youth. Our children and youth teaching and activity groups meet during the 10am Contemporary Morning Worship Service, at St. Ouen’s Parish Church.
We also have a Tuesday Toddler Group and fortnightly Thursday Youth Meet-Ups and other Events. We also like to link up with what other church groups are doing on the island from time to time.
We believe our children and youth groups should be focused upon the themes of:
Live, Laugh, Love and Learn
To achieve this we run a variety of activities for both children and young people, both on a Sunday and throughout the week. These groups help them to learn in an engaging way, grow in their faith, and build up good friendships with those of a similar age.
Our children and youth groups provide the building blocks for them to have a good support network, provide a safe space for them to ask questions and work out what being a Christian means to them.
Kids Church 9.45am
Activities for children are available in the marquee on the church car park. They begin promptly at 9:45am please. The main service for parents/carers starts at 10am in The Parish Church.
This service in church is also usually live-streamed via our YouTube Channel. (It is not now available via Zoom.)
Youth on Sundays & Youth Meet-Ups
Youth groups meet in separate groups for Sunday during the 10am Contemporary Service at St Ouens Church.
There are also Youth Meet-Ups, fortnightly on Thursdays 7pm-9pm at Sally and Sam’s house. Plus other socials and events from time to time!
“All Youth Meet-Ups are open to you and your mates. Just let us know ASAP so we can be ready for you.” Sally
