Celebration of Hope with Street Pastors Jersey

On Sunday 24th February, we will be joined at all three services, with our friends from Street Pastors Jersey. Street Pastors is one of our church’s four Mission Partners.

This is a great chance to celebrate the ongoing mission of Street Pastors Jersey. Hear about their testimonies and experiences looking after people on the streets of Jersey, from late at night till the early hours of the morning.

As you may know, Richard Le Breton will be stepping down as chair of Street Pastors after 7 years. Richard will be introducing Donna Vibert (Street Pastor’s current coordinator), as the new chair of Street Pastors Jersey, in a short welcome interview.

Come along to celebrate and support the work of one of our Church Mission Partners. Be encouraged and inspired at the difference our money and prayer has done over the last year.

Readings

Philippians 2 v.1-11 and Luke 19 v. 1-9

Come and join us again at the 11am Traditional Morning Worship Service!

The 11am Traditional Morning Worship service, at St. George’s Church, is traditional, Anglican in style. The service of worship includes hymns led by an organ and/or piano and practical teaching from the Bible. We meet at 11am at St. George’s Church, with the service usually lasting one hour.

On a Sunday, usually about 25-30 adults of our community meet together. On the fourth Sunday of the month we serve coffee and tea after the service.
