Celebrating Mothering Sunday

2019 | 31 March | Sermon: Mothering Sunday – Mothers in the Bible 

Today is Mothering Sunday, and we celebrate our mothers, and also all people in our lives that have ‘mothered’ us. This sermon looks at some of the mothers we find in the Bible, and how we can be inspired by them and their example.

Come and join us at the 11am Traditional Morning Worship Service!

The 11am Traditional Morning Worship service, at St. George’s Church, is quite formal and traditional, Anglican in style. The service of worship includes hymns led by an organ and/or piano and practical teaching from the Bible. We meet at 11am at St. George’s Church, with the service usually lasting one hour.

On a Sunday, usually about 25-30 adults of our community meet together. On the fourth Sunday of the month we serve coffee and tea after the service.
