On Saturday 8th June we will be stepping out further and prayer walking around the boundary of our Parish.

We will be breaking up the Parish across a number of stages during the day, and praying for our community as we walk. We plan to begin at 8am and finish by 3.30pm.

The programme for the walk is set out below:

08.00    Meet at Greve de Lecq car park
09.15    Breakfast at Plemont Café
10.30    Leave Gronez Castle
12.00    Picnic at Les Laveurs Slip (opposite Jersey Pearl)
13.00    Leave Les Laveurs Slip
14.00    Leave Val de la Mare reservoir (main car park)
15.30    Finish at Greve de Lecq car park

Please feel free to come along for the whole day or just for a stage or two. Why not join us for breakfast at Plemont Café, bring a picnic and join us for lunch on St. Ouen’s Bay, or join us for a refreshing drink at The Prince of Wales?

Thy Kingdom Come 2019

Eleven Days of Global Prayer:  30th May – 9th June

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

St. Ouen’s Parish Church with St. George have a full programme of activities and events you can participate in. During the 11 days of Thy Kingdom Come, it is hoped that everyone who takes part will:

  1. Deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ
  2. Pray for God’s Spirit to work in the lives of those they know
  3. Pledge to pray for five people they know to come to know Jesus
  4. Come to realise that every aspect of their life is the stuff of prayer

Prayer is not everything, but everything is nothing without prayer
