10am: Contemporary Morning Worship (pre-Covid)

Normally (before Covid ) we meet at 10am at St. Ouen’s Parish Church. This is an informal worship service (usually led by a music band) with practical teaching from the Bible. The service lasts between 1¼ to 1½ hours, depending on the monthly pattern of services (see below.) On a Sunday, usually about 80-90 adults and children of our community meet together.

Our children’s and youth groups meet at the Youth and Community Centre (YCC) from 9:45am. They are driven back to church by the leaders and helpers, to join the end of the service.

Under 3s stay in church, in a supervised creche area, with their own play and activities during the service.

Our monthly pattern of Services

1st Sunday: All Age Worship

An All Age Worship service beginning at 10am. A breakfast of croissants and pain au chocolats is served from 9:30am. All Infant Baptisms and Christenings take place at this service. The service usually lasts about 1 hour.

2nd and 4th Sundays: Morning Worship

Informal Morning Worship with Under 3’s activities at church, and groups for children and youth at the Youth and Community Centre from 9:45am, arriving at church for the end of the service. The service usually lasts up to 1¼ hours.

3rd Sundays: Informal Communion

Holy Communion with Under 3’s activities at church, and groups for children and youth at the Youth and Community Centre from 9:45am, arriving back at church for Holy Communion. The service usually lasts up to 1½ hours.

Sundays Together (occasional Joint Services)

About four or five times a year, as a whole church we have Sundays Together. All three congregations meet to worship together. The venue is either at St. Ouen’s Parish Church (at 10am) or St. George’s Church (at 11am.) The service usually lasts up to 1¼ hours.
