10am Service – moving to St. Ouen’s Parish Hall

From Sunday 13 October until Sunday 24 November (inclusive)

As announced at our 10am Service recently, the 10am Service is moving to St. Ouen’s Parish Hall from Sunday 13th October until Sunday 24th November (inclusive.)

This decision has not been made lightly, but for both logistical and growing safeguarding reasons, eg transportation and contained spaces in church. The Parish Church struggles to function as a Sunday Worship Service to accommodate a full programme of activities for our Under 3s, children and young people on one site at the Parish Church, or at easily accessible distance from the church. Now that the weather is cooler and wetter we are unable to use the tent in the field.

Therefore, the 10am Service will now be held at The Parish Hall, and make use of the neighbouring YCC. At the Parish Hall all our children and youth will start off in the Service. They will leave part way through for their activities, with the Under 3’s in the upstairs room at the Parish Hall and the youth and children next door at the Youth and Community Centre.

We will move back in to Church for our Christmas Services, and for the All Age services on the first Sunday of the month.
