St Ouen’s Parish Church is open for Prayer and Reflection
It is with profound sadness that we mourn the death of our dear Queen. We recognise many may wish to pay tribute to her life of service, faithfulness, kindness, integrity, stability and humility. Also, to pray for the Royal Family and our new King Charles III.
St Ouens Parish Church is open, during the day, for those who may wish to spend time in God’s house to reflect, pray and light a candle, if you would like to. There is a Book of Condolence at the Parish Hall.
Please be aware Bee Bops Baby & Toddler Group will still be running in the Parish Church on Tuesday mornings 9.30-11am. Thank you.
Finally, a couple of prayers to use, if you wish, over the coming week:
Gracious God,
we give thanks for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
for her faith and her dedication to duty.
Bless our nation as we mourn her death
and may her example continue to inspire us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
God of love,
We thank you for the life of The Queen,
for her service to our nation,
and for her faith in you.
Be close to all of us who mourn,
that we may we find comfort and hope in your love,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
