About the session…
A great chance for parents, grandparents, carers, babies and toddlers to make friends and socialise together in a warm and supportive environment. There is ample free parking in the church carpark, and space for prams and push chairs inside the church entrance.
Each session begins with free play in the church, with different areas for ride on toys, role play, toys, crafts and a separate area for small babies. Halfway through the morning, healthy snacks and drinks are served before we get the instruments out to sing together, listen to a short Bible story and say a prayer.
In the school holidays, there are a sometimes other fun activities and meet-ups arranged too. For information about any activities during school holidays please follow us on Facebook: Bee Bops Baby and Toddler Group.
Other Bits and Bops…
We love to extend opportunities for our Bee Bop’s community, so we regularly hold additional activities for babies and toddlers. Every Sunday, there are baby and toddler activities going on in church during the service, while Kids Church (in the marquee on the church carpark) for older siblings (aged 3+) is also happening.
From time to time, there are events in Church, that often Bee Bop’s children and families like to come along to. Every year, our Bee Bop children have a special tableau scene in the Christmas Eve Nativity Service, with a chance to dress up in nativity costumes and sing a simple song together with the leaders. Or just come along to watch the Nativity Service (optional costumes!) if they don’t want to go on stage. The children also enjoy craft-making and carols at our Fun and Frosty activity morning. They also have fun making and finding lots of Easter treats at the Easter EGGstravaganza.
During the school holidays, we like to plan activities too, as we know if can be difficult to find things to do for this specific age group during these times.
It doesn’t end there…
We also hold regular Children and Family Socials to offer our children and families time to get to know each other on a Sunday afternoon.
These events are open to all children and families, who are either part our Bee Bop’s Community, Church Members and their friends and family – or anyone who would like to come along and join us.
